The West London Green Skills Hub is a new, energetic force established to help people find jobs in the capital’s growing green economy, funded by the Greater London Authority. The hub brings together employers, training providers, local authorities, charities, business groups and more, collaborating to create pathways to green skills and jobs. Their mission is to inspire and help people find work in the capital’s growing green economy.
MITSkills’ mission is to reduce skill shortages, encourage individuals to take up opportunities and support their personal growth and development within a sustainable green learning environment. We are conscious of the impact we have as an organisation and are working to reduce our carbon footprint, minimise waste, highlight recycling opportunities and encourage our learners to work in an environmentally friendly manner as part of our commitment to a sustainable future.
We offer apprenticeships in Plumbing, Electrical Installation, Carpentry, Vehicle Maintenance, CSCS Safety Courses and AM2 testing to support the demand and growth of these areas.
In November, we were delighted to be awarded a Mayor’s Skills Academies ‘Quality Mark’ which recognises high quality green skills training for our construction sector. Read the full article here
