Congratulations to Archie Mendoza, named MITSkills’ Learner of the Month!
Archie is currently enrolled on the Installation and Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship Standard, developing the practical craftsmanship, technical knowledge, and site safety competencies essential for modern electrical infrastructure.
Excellence On-Site and in the Workshop
Throughout his training, Archie has demonstrated exceptional focus and consistency across all aspects of his programme. From interpreting complex technical diagrams and mastering containment to carrying out safe isolation and wiring installations with pinpoint precision, Archie’s attention to detail sets a high benchmark for his peers.
Balancing full-time, hands-on employment with demanding technical off-the-job study is a rigorous challenge. Archie has met this with maturity, proactive communication, and an outstanding professional attitude that has earned him praise from his tutors and workplace mentors alike.
Building Skills for a Lasting Career
The Installation and Maintenance Electrician standard requires a strong commitment to quality, adherence to British Standards (BS 7671), and a safety-first mindset. Archie continues to embody these qualities daily, demonstrating how dedication and apprenticeship training create skilled tradespeople ready for industry demands.
Please join all of us at MITSkills in congratulating Archie on his well-deserved recognition—we look forward to following his continued success as he progresses towards his End-Point Assessment!
