Today marks the successful conclusion of our latest Inspection and Testing Skills Bootcamp at MITSkills.
Over the course of the programme, our learners have undergone rigorous theoretical instruction and hands-on practical training designed to meet the highest electrical industry standards. Inspection and testing remain among the most critical qualifications in the electrotechnical sector, requiring precise diagnostic skills, uncompromising safety awareness, and strict adherence to BS 7671 regulations.
Hands-On, Industry-Focused Training
Throughout the bootcamp, learners worked in our dedicated workshop facilities, tackling key competencies including:
- Safe isolation of single and three-phase supplies.
- Initial verification and periodic inspection routines.
- Comprehensive electrical testing procedures, including continuity, insulation resistance, earth fault loop impedance, and RCD verification.
- Accurate certification, reporting, and documentation to ensure full compliance with current wiring regulations.
- Systematic fault diagnosis and rectification techniques.
Our trainers have been deeply impressed by the focus, professionalism, and camaraderie demonstrated by this group. Balancing complex regulatory theory with detailed practical execution is no small feat, and every participant rose to the challenge.
