MITSkills Green Skills Bootcamp - Electric Vehicle Charging Points and Energy Storage
MITSkills are offering a Skills Bootcamp in Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment and Electrical Energy Storage Systems.
The course is aimed at practising electricians wishing to upskill, to safely install and maintain Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment (EVCE) and achieve a nationally recognised qualification in the design, installation and commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems (Battery Storage).
There is a key focus on the design of circuits to supply EVCE so it is heavily advised candidates review circuit design calculations before attendance.
The scenario-based assignment relies on essential knowledge of BS 7671 and design calculations for a successful outcome.
Applicants should be working within the electrical industry and ideally hold a formal level 3 electrical qualification (see entry criteria) and must hold a current BS 7671 qualification.
