Great teamwork isn’t just taught in the classroom or on the construction site, sometimes it’s learned on the pitch!

Our Leatherhead Construction learners recently traded their tools for sports gear for a hands-on Sports Day, competing in rounders and football.

The event helped learners develop an understanding of the importance of communication, teamwork, and team building. They explored the difference between a group of people completing a task and a team, where everyone has a specific position, role, and responsibility to help achieve a common goal. Through the activities, learners demonstrated cooperation, leadership, and effective communication skills.

Seeing our learners bring these essential site-ready skills to life off the field was fantastic. Huge well done to everyone who took part!
