Did you know that from 1 August 2026, eligible apprentices aged 16 to 24 can be trained at no cost to your business? 🚨
The government has announced 100% funding for training and assessment costs for all eligible young apprentices starting after 1 August 2026.
Even if your levy funds are exhausted, your business pays nothing for new starts under 25 across the wider Growth and Skills offer, saving you hundreds (or thousands) per apprentice.
What this looks like in practice:
For a standard £3,500 apprenticeship band:
• Aged 16–24: You pay £0 (100% government funded—saving you £875)
• Aged 25+: You pay £875 (25% employer co-investment)
Navigating funding rules can be tricky, but you don’t have to do it alone. MITSkills is here to help. Whether you’re an existing partner or exploring apprenticeships for the first time, our expert team will help you maximise this new funding and structure your workforce for growth.
