M.I.T. Skills work together with local schools to ensure learners benefit from a nationally recognised work-based qualification. The qualification shows employers the candidate is competent to undertake work-based tasks. The program also improves communication, maths and English skills, whilst letting the learners work at their own pace.

Traineeships are work experience programs designed to help young people interested in taking the first steps into their future career prior to an apprenticeship. A traineeship can develop the appropriate skills or experience needed to get an apprenticeship for those aged between 16 and 24 years old.
