Motor Vehicle Apprenticeships Given Thumbs Up
If you’re looking for a career in the motor trade, Motor Industry Training (MIT) is one of the best places to get qualified.
This is according to the Adult Learning Inspectorate (ALI), the official body responsible for inspecting all providers of government funded training programmes like apprenticeships.
ALI endorsed the quality of MIT’s courses by naming the company as one of the country’s top training providers.
Based in West Byfleet, MIT can teach you to become a car or truck mechanic, vehicle body repairer or vehicle paint sprayer. They specialise in providing apprenticeship training for young people supported with funding through the Learning and Skills Council. This means that the training is free for anyone eligible.
MIT Managing Director Hisham Zubeidi said, “We have worked hard to ensure that the quality of our provision is constantly improving. I am delighted that the inspectors have recognised our hard work in this way”.
Training is run at employer premises and at a newly opened training centre in West Byfleet. An Open Evening is being held on Wednesday 21 February when you can find out more about careers in the motor trade without obligation.
